Our students have been busy preparing for the upcoming End of The Year Grad Show (EOY22). 

Over 35 students will be showcasing their work. The grad show runs from next Tuesday 31^st May to Friday 3^rd June with an evening drinks reception on the 2^nd at 5.30 pm. The reception will be held in the college -Dublin Design Institute, Corrib House, 52 Leeson Street Lower, Saint Kevin’s, Dublin 2, D02 EE65.

The students taking part will spread across Graphic Design, Interior Design and Fashion.  Our 3rd Year Graphics students will be presenting their end of the year Major Project which are self-directed and personal to them. Our third years in Interior Design will be showcasing their final year project too.  Our second year students of our Higher National Diploma in graphic Design will showing their branding work for Community Radio Kilkenny City CRKC which was briefed in collaboration with DesignOpp.

The BA Interior Design class of 2022 will present a selection of work from their self-directed major projects. These projects range in scale and subject, but have been brought into focus around the brief to create a museum within an existing site. 

Projects range from expositions of Greek and Irish mythology, to the creation of immersive worlds of Dungeons & Dragons and gems & crystals, to contemporary design showcases and learning from life on Mars. Sites chosen include a former factory, Victorian bus depot and 1960s office block.

We can’t wait to see what they have put together for the end of the year show. If you fancy a glass of wine, seeing their work and want to have a chat with our students and lecturers, we advise you to come to the show.
