You will be shown examples of photographic techniques and styles to begin to develop your own personal approach to the subject. You will look at the functions of the camera, and how to adjust for lighting, and get to grips with exposure, shutter speed, aperture and ISO. You will also be shown lighting set-ups using tripods, flashes and different lenses to achieve photographic goals.
Your lecturer will demonstrate how to compose your shots to achieve the best compositional outcomes. You will use what you learn here to create engaging and powerful portraiture using a live model to practice with.
